What happens when you transform a traditional ukulele into an experimental electric instrument?

In this hands-on demonstration workshop, participants will explore how sound is captured and amplified by installing a piezo pickup and modifying a concert ukulele. After examining the mechanics of vibration and signal flow, the group will collaborate in designing and testing custom paddles and sound modifiers to create new textures and tones.

A creative and exploratory session for curious musicians and makers.
