Two Chords, One Melody (4:15pm-5:15pm)

What if you could create a complete, beautiful arrangement using just two chords? In this hands-on workshop, we’ll explore how simplicity can become powerful. Through a gentle waltz-style progression, you’ll learn how to read basic chord charts, understand simple tab notation, and layer melody over harmony to build a full musical piece.

We’ll look at how chord diagrams translate onto the fretboard, how tabs visually map melody, and how small harmonic choices can add emotional colour. Whether you’re brand new to the ukulele or looking to deepen your musicianship, this session will help you move beyond strumming and into arranging with intention. By the end of the hour, you won’t just be playing two chords, you’ll be performing a song!
