A rhythm workshop to break out of repetitive strumming patterns and to find interesting grooves​

Bored of the usual down down up up strumming patterns? Join Uke Grooves, a playful hands-on workshop designed to explore fresh rhythmic possibilities on the ukulele. You'll be introduced to a range of essential grooves, discover songs that bring them to life, and learn how to adapt and improvise these patterns to beautifully complement your vocal melodies.

 

Led by singer songwriter Vaisakh Somanath, this session goes beyond technique. Together, we’ll explore how rhythm lives in everyday sounds around us, from speech patterns to street rhythms, and translate them into creative strumming ideas.
